Let's remove the ads, the cost is not high and NF may even have a blanket membership. If no one is opposes this over the next 7 days I'm going to start reaching out to NF and/or make a stronger proposal internally PyMC

Any update on whether NumFOCUS has a blanket membership with Read the Docs?

i didn't pursue the conversation further because someone else took the ads off somehow from what I understand

I believe @twiecki took them off on June 30 so we could avoid the ads for the sprint website.
I thought that was a temporary fix, but I am not sure.

The cost seems to be per month per readthedocs project.

I don't know if it's $5/month per website or $50/month per website.

We have 4 different sites on RTD:

1. pymc.io
2. docs.pymc.io
3. the references
4. data umbrella sprint page

I pay $10/month so can remove ads on two of them. It used to be:

1. docs.pymc.io
2. data umbrella sprint page

I just replaced 2 with 1 above because that one is currently getting more traffic.
