What maintenance needs to be done?

Level of urgency

  • High
  • Moderate

Relevant deadlines

Why is this maintenance needed?

Currently only production logs go to datadog. (even then... not for all applications) Can we set up centralized logging for all our infrastructure.

Acceptance criteria

  • a central URI application that accepts logs
  • a parametrized configuration on the application server to ship logs to the central store
  • convert applications to (nginx, apache2, postgresql, rails logs to user json)
