i would love to have read on the readme more about the alternatives and how this compares.

this is certainly me just being too naive, but when i saw 4th alternative here https://ostechnix.com/tuxdrive-commandline-google-drive-client-linux/ the only one without needing fuse to mount, and offering a pseudo shell through python, i thought "well, this might work!".

it's quite challenging doing all this from android, using termux, and no desktop!

what i really wanted was a "shell enough" access to the drive, so i could use some sort of du. i know it's theoretically possible because i got it to work using colab once (perhaps only because that's within google, though).

for now, rclone, even without mounting, got me much closer to being able to.

anyway, kudos for making it so easy to use this, and maintaining it over the years! 🥰
