Currently, the website is showing a secure error that might be related to the SSL certificated

This is on purpose I believe. If you explicitly add https:// in front of the URL it should give you a valid certificate. You seem to be looking at the plain HTTP version, which many browsers call "Not secure" now.

Both HTTP and HTTPS are accessible, because this way you can test with both protocols.
