Hi, i am trying to run Positron in the browser but have not been able to.

Is it possible to run Positron in the browser like the VSCode-server one?

That sounds great. Is there a timeline yet for " when the functionality is available[...]" for Positron Server to self host? Can I assume that, in the near future, universities will be able to host Positron Server themselves with a specific teaching licence?

Our current tentative timeline is to do the needed engineering work in the first months of 2026, with a plan to roll this out to professors by the spring targeting fall 2026 classes. If you are interested in being in the loop in this, I would recommend that you reach out to [email protected]!
