Feature Request: Native resource monitor

One of the things I appreciated about RStudio was the RAM usage displayed in console. It was good for a quick (albeit less accurate) glance at RAM to see if/when code was blowing up memory usage. There's a Resource Monitor extension for VSCode/CodeOSS, but it doesn't appear to work with Positron. Is this something that could be implemented natively?

Oooof, seems like something is wrong with that extension on OpenVSX; something weird has happened there.

If I install the version from OpenVSX, I also observe that it does not work in Positron. If I do some shenanigans and install the .vsix file of the original version in Positron, that does work. I have not observed this type of situation before!

Anyway, I have opened #9074 to track and prioritize a possible native version of this type of functionality.
