Unable to access Proxmox web UI from cosmic desktop.

The same behavior is observed with Brave (131.0.6778.85), Firefox (132.0.2) & Opera (115.0.5322.68) the page load eventually fails with the following (or similar) messages in the browser console. All three browsers (identical versions) work as expected on pop-os 22.04 with the login page loading as expected. Tried clearing browser caches, etc. For Opera this was the only activity performed after installing the browser from the deb package.

Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET proxmoxlib.js:1

Not sure if this is a cosmic desktop or some kind of package issue but it is independent of the Browser used and private browsing windows make no difference. 22.04 installed from intel_11 iso and fully up to date at time of writing. 22.04 running on a galp6 & 24.04 on a 14" darter pro.
