Plausible not working with https

I've installed it on Ubuntu 20.04 via the docker installation with AWS.

site is working fine with http, but with https it's not working fine.

But docker ps doesn't list Caddy. So you would need to check why it is not running.

As for nginx, I am not sure what's its relevance here. Do you use both nginx and Caddy? This seems like a complicated setup and I probably won't be able to help with it.

Then you probably don't need Caddy: https://github.com/plausible/community-edition/tree/v2.1.1/reverse-proxy#nginx

But the HTTPS stuff would be on you and nginx :)

Note that judging by your security groups and docker ps you seem to have exposed your databases to the internet.
That's probably not safe :)

If curl http://localhost:8000 works, then everything Plausible-related is fine. You need to check your nginx configuration and take extra steps to enable HTTPS there. You can use ChatGPT or other similar tools to help you do this.
