Upgrading PocketBase

Hello @pedrozadotdev, hope you being doing well.

I have a few questions about the PocketBase version we use in this project.

• Are there any plans to upgrade PocketBase?
• Since PocketBase v0.23.0 and onward introduces barking changes, should we stick with v0.22.x indefinitely?

I was in their discussions threads the other day, and @ganigeorgiev suggested that if we stick to the old version, that we should try to upgrade to the latest v0.22.x (at the time of writing v0.22.31) since there were several bug fixes, including security related. See thread here

• Can we upgrade to v0.22.31 without breaking anything?
• Is there anything I can do to help?

Hi Elier, I want to update Pocketbase to the latest version, but right now I don't have time for that and I don't want to do it again in the future (I'm waiting for v1.0). But I think we can update to v0.22.31 because this version is before v0.23 which changes a lot of things internally. So if you have time, do some testing with v0.22.31, if everything is ok, we can update the main repository to this version for now...

One more thing. I saw the thread. You could ask that here too, since the question was related to pocketblocks groups. I think I have "more context" to answer this 😅. I had the same problem understanding the ?= operator before, so you are not alone 😄.

No worries, I understand. This is a very good opportunity for me to contribute. I will test how everything works with v0.22.31 and report back to you with the results.
