Ways to make video streaming more stable

What are the ways to make video streaming more stable with packet loss and freezes? I need to stably transmit 4K video, but even at 5GHz with a loaded network there are large packet losses and freezes. Are there any practices for such cases?

If the network is not able to carry the video bitrate, the only thing you can do is reducing the bitrate. A very busy wifi network will typically perform quite poorly, however you should still check Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) is enabled as it can help a lot.

If the bitrate seems to be low enough for the network but you still observe significant packet loss, you can try to pacing outgoing packets by adding a PacingHandler at the end of the sender media handling chain. Set the pacing rate to 2 times the bitrate and the send interval to a few milliseconds, for instance 2ms.
