The Docker image on ghcr.io isn't set to be publicly viewable.

Yep, same thing happens when trying to grab the release with docker-compose:

Can you inform us when you changed the visibility? Or is there a possibility to get access to that image?

You can use the Dockerfile in the GitHub repository to build a Docker image.
