example, scilab is installed in :

5.3.3 /usr bin scilab 32

scilab installs strangely on linux, there is the scilab executable in /usr/bin
and the libraries in /usr/share/scilab but those libraries don't contain a bin folder with the executable, breaking the whole standard structure

workaround is to configure manually
