recordfinder searchScope doesn't work

why searchScope (with recordfinder) doesn't work? if I put my scopeSth to scope: - it works. But in searchScope: - not at all...

it doesn't work in winter.test either...

What exactly do you mean by doesn't work? Your scopeGetName() method doesn't actually use the $type parameter (which according to the docs should be the text provided to the search, i.e. $searchText instead)

I put the easiest example to show that my where is correct and exact the same with this from FinderScope
.The expected result of THIS scopeGetName is just filter persons beginning with B (no matter what I enter in search) - but of course it should be $query->where('person_data_last_name','LIKE',"%".$type."%");

And the most important - i have Winter.Test installed and there also record finder doesn't work! So i think it is a bigger problem in main code, not in my plugin...

searchable: true at last in one column has to be set.

And if you want to use searchMode - don't use searchScope (it just won't work at all which is confusing)

searchMode should be used in simple searching

if you want complex searching - just use searchScope (without searchMode) and make own where from term.
