Can images with greater than 3 channels be trained?

When using aerial imagery, we often have many more channels than the usual 3 (RGB). Can larger numbers of channels be accommodated in training?

Training with RGB-D images causes the same issue, we have 4 channels and there is no way to use all of them while training. Please provide the code if this is possible.
