"External Power" as separated value in Device Metrics Log

Hello there! I have a node, that has both "EXT_PWR_DETECT" and "BATTERY_PIN" pins defined, so I can see both battery voltage, and the presence of the external power supply. But despite that, in "Device Metrics Log", battery percentage still jumps up to 100% when external power supply is connected (screenshot 1).

I do understand that in some cases it makes sense, but in my case - external power supply not only provides power to node, but it is also chargers the battery, so it would be useful for me to see battery percentage not only as value, but also as a chart even while external supply is connected. Maybe for nodes that has both "EXT_PWR_DETECT" and "BATTERY_PIN" pins defined, app should draw separated chart for external power supply? (something like in screenshot 2)
