Cannot access any radio configuration menus - they all freeze at 0% #393

Re-flashed my T114 node, but it didn't seem to help. There doesn't seem to be an option on the webflasher page any more to factory reset the T114. After fiddling more, I found that if I waited several minutes, I could get the User menu to come up. I'm now waiting for the channel menu, and after several minutes, it shows 33%. Something is definitely wrong, here. I've also rebooted my smartphone. After rebooting the smartphone, I can still connect to the node, but none of the radio configuration menus are working. |

I went outside and connected directly via BLE to my solar node, and all radio config menus I tried worked. I then reconnected to my T114 and now all the menus are working, including remote administration of my solar node. Go figure. |

Spoke too soon. A couple hours later, the same issue has arisen. Even though I'm 'connected' to my T114, none of the radio configuration menus respond now. They all 'stick' at 0%.. I'm in a zoom call right now, so I can't go outside and connect to my solar node at the moment which currently is sitting on the picnic table behind the house, so I can connect to it easily using BLE, but I have to be close enough to do so. |

This time after connecting to my solar node (which works FB) and then back to my T114, the issue still persists on the T114. I still would like to do a factory reset of the T114, but there is no information on how to do that. Another idea would be to flash it to the latest alpha, to see if that fixes this issue. |

Flashed 2.7.8 alpha to the T114. Still no radio configuration menu items working. |

Success! I think. I finally figured out how to factory reset the T114. On the web flasher page, there is a tiny garbage can symbol next to the flash button, which will load an erase file to the T114. There is no legend for the garbage can, unless you hover over it with your mouse. BAD UI!! By factory resetting the T114 and then flashing it with the latest beta, I was able to get the node up and running again. It will take a while for it to discover the 100+ nodes it normally sees via RF and MQTT, so I'll let it sit overnight and see what I have in the morning. |

OK, all is right with the world, now. After factory resetting my T114 and reloading the latest Beta, it is now seeing over 100 nodes (via MQTT and max 7 hops), the radio config menus are now working, and I can send messages again. I figure that all this may have occurred from a heap overflow. I notice that on my Android phone the Meshtastic app notification shows the heap allocation and the current heap usage. I'll keep an eye on that as the total number of nodes seen over the previous 60 day operating period had reached close to 1000 nodes. So, the nodedb may have overflowed, and/or the heap. This may be an issue with the current/latest 2.6.11 Beta, so if may rear its ugly head on other devices, besides my T114. This could be a really annoying issue for rooftop/tower devices that flub out and are not easily accessible. |

@theoldmoose I have the same issue here. Can you show exactly where the "tiny garbage can symbol next to the flash button" is? I am unable to find, or have they updated the UI now? |

@theoldmoose Found the button using devtools, but it doesn't do anything. |

I've tried rebooting my T114 node which is running the latest stable release 2.6.11 Beta, and also unplugged the battery and re-plugged it, and uninstalled and re-installed the meshtastic app on my smartphone. The app connects to my T114 node, and it reports now 44 online nodes, etc. but the radio configuration menu items all freeze at 0%. I also tried sending a message on LongFast, and it says 'message queued', but it doesn't get sent. I can receive messages, but not send them. Wonder if I need to reflash my T114 node?
