Can't connect my Soundcard - no sound coming through

No sound. I have clicked on every one of those options?

What am I doing wrong?

It seems as if the audio device selection isn't the problem then.
I'd start debugging from sound input to sound output: Does the microphone/instrument produce sound (check with another program).
Is the gain in the interface set correctly?
Does the OS display sound from the input in system settings?

Then continue to Jamulus: if you're connected to a server, do the level meters on the left show a signal? Then move over to the output: Jamulus Volume-> OS volume -> Interface volume etc.

Often the problem is on the OS level. Maybe Jamulus isn't allowed to access your microphone? Do the privacy settings allow microphone access?

I am wondering if it could be a driver issue? Metric has 2 different drivers one that uses Ethernet and the other that uses USB C. I am using the Ethernet driver. I wonder if that makes difference.

I just want to avoid disrupting my setup just get this working. If you know what I mean....

Any Metric Halo users out there that have had success with the Ethernet Driver?

Also your Mac should support the latest version of macOS. 12.7.1 is probably even unsupported by apple.

You need to be connected to a server to be able to hear sound.
Your image shows you are not connected to a server.
In that state you will never hear any sound.
