Automatically append http / https protocol if not specified when manually setting up a server

Describe the feature

I pasted in the raw hostname for setting up a new server (in this case, a Nabu Casa URL I'm setting up remotely) and got an unsupported URL error.

The app should first try https, and then http automatically. Or, perhaps only allow http on local networks (though that's hard to know with IPv6).

Use cases

Many new users aren't going to be familiar with protocols (given how web browsers don't display them anymore), so this could certainly be confusing. And, even tools like curl prepend a protocol if one isn't provided.

Looking closer, I think the issue may be that it's not obvious the view is scrollable further with default OS settings for scrollbar visibility:
