Describe the feature
Just migrating from Android to an iPhone. I was surprised to see that Home Assistant companion app supports way fewer sensors than the Android version does.
The sensor I miss most is
sensor.public_ip, The public IP address of the device as generated by ipify API. https://companion.home-assistant.io/docs/core/sensors/#public-ip-sensorUse cases
I pull the the public_ip of my phone from Home Assistant into the firewall, dynamically adjusting the access rules for some other services I access from outside. This way I add an extra security layer to those services, by only allowing connection to them from my phone's public IP.
