Unknown Apps installed

Hello all.
I hope someone could help me understand something a bit "unexpected".
I recently had a Zoom call with a person and, after it, I noticed by pure accident that some applications were mysteriously added to my notebook (but they were not installed by me).
These apps are not presented in the Applications menu, nor are found in the Settings menu... They aren't even found in the AppCenter.
I have no idea how come they end up being installed in my machine.
Now, I do have - traumatic - experiences with hackers in my life and Zoom is particularly vulnerable to them (although I had no choice but to join the meeting since it was a supposed job interview).
The only way I can find these apps is by selecting a non-linux file (such as .exe), clicking in "run with" and then after "View All Applications" they will be listed.
For example, in the following image, I have no idea of what's the origin of the "wheelmap.org" and "Qwant Maps" (in fact, I don't use any map application app at all).
There are other suspicious apps in the list but they don't fit the image (I had to take a partial screenshot).

Now, how can I remove these apps noting that I not even installed them and that they cannot be found anywhere but through specific steps?

You can see them, and delete/hide/see information about them using AppEditor: https://appcenter.elementary.io/com.github.donadigo.appeditor/

it displays all launchers for your system, shown and hidden, and allows to edit them.
Please do not be worried as you will find quite a bit more there, installed "alongside" other applications.
For example granite-7-Demo is of no relevance to normal users, but installed because the system came with "Granite" which is what the user interface relies on

I would not be surprised Wheelmap and Qwant Maps having been installed by some deb packages that you may have installed recently.

If you use Zoom from flathub, it is sandboxed, so any vulnerability exploited there is contained within a "box" the software comes installed in and with.

It is interesting.
I wonder, though, if this is known to the majority of Elementary users.
While I don't want to turn this into a psychological discussion, some users (like me) may have very solid reasons to suspect of such (or any) unknown apps installed in any device.
I won't get into too many details of my personal issue on the subject but, just to illustrate my point, hackers managed to push malware into previous devices I used (and those apps/systems, obviously, were not visible) and through them, my personal data was stolen (some ended up in the Dark Web).
I don't recommend the experience to anyone.
As you may imagine, the similarity between then and now is uncanny.
Noting so, I may understand that Elementary itself may be the source of all such apps, but the fact that I can even see such system apps in that menu seems a bit odd.
In a refinement point of view, if a certain app happens to be a system one then I suppose that users shouldn't be able to see it all (not to mention even being capable of interacting with them in any way).
While I'm not a technical person, my previous experiences (both professional and personal) suggest me that this is a system vulnerability.
A hacker would find tremendous value in knowing what is it that the runs in an individual machine... This is actually where they strive.

A hacker would not create a .desktop entry (those are what shows in those menus)
there is simply no technical point for it.

By design flatpak applications (installed from the Appcenter) are built in a manner where, should the packaged app be hacked, the hackers can still do little on their target computer.
Debian packages (installed from a file whose name ends in .deb), while those from the software vendor are as good as the trust you put in said vendor, do not restrict access as much (pretty much as open as a Windows application). Which is one of the reasons they are falling out of fashion

I am the author of Unboxing, which i notice in the list. i did it as fallback, because unfortunately Debian packages are still needed by non-tech-savy users because a lot of vendors only package their application as debian package
