From the TSC : Please add information about where badges are hosted (Credly). Can you please put a level between 2 and 3 like Amplifier etc.

@stibrewa can add more info here as well, but Credly badges would be issued via an affiliate account under the Cisco master account, however, they would not show as coming from cisco but from the project itself. See example of a CAIPE badge: https://www.credly.com/org/community-ai-platform-engineering-caipe/badge/community-ai-platform-engineering-explorer ... we are confirming with Credly account team if a badge that has been provided to a community member can be transferred to a separate account (ie Linux Foundation owned AGNTCY affiliate account for example).

@stibrewa is addressing @muscariello's comment in the google doc related to the levels, and I also chimed in. I just spoke with her and she'll also add in an operational note at the bottom of the google doc for how these could be delivered.

First step is to deliver badges to the attendees of the very successful hands-on workshop we just held on Nov 19th! Beyond that, we'll work with working group leaders to deliver future badges once the TSC questions / comments are addressed!

Thanks @lttucker23 , yes I have replied to yours and @muscariello 's comments. Here is what I added towards operational note.

1. The first level Explorer is easiest to achieve and anyone attending a workshop would automatically qualify
2. TSC should approve the criteria for each badge level, and the criteria should be as objective as possible so there is no room for subjective decisions
3. The nominations for individuals making contribution beyond explorer would come from working groups, marketing working group or TSC themselves
4. The lower badge levels e.g.- 1, 2 & 3 could be approved by relevant working groups and/or marketing team to protect TSC's time
5. TSC could get involved approval of higher levels e.g.- 4 &5 since these levels are tougher to achieve
6. TSC would have the final say in any badge level criteria and approval process
