You can't, or at least not easily or in anything other than a brute force way. The only tools are like huge hammers. See prune history below. Or set a Private room to public and add yourself.... though I imagine they'll close that off soon enough. All because 'privacy' (which you can drive a coach and horse through in reality). But then it isn't GDPR compliant. So a total contradiction in terms really. Many users have complained about this sort of issue over a long period of time, but due to internal policies and direction Rocket believe the business should go, this not going to change. They are focused on security type of "privacy" and not GDPR type privacy. Think "secure communications" platform rather than GDPR compliant platform. If you want GDPR type compliance then look at other solutions.

I have admin account, and I want to clean history by API, both rooms and direct chats.
The API
rooms.cleanHistory
doesn't work for me, because it just can clean rooms which this account stay in.How can I do that?
