I made a simple program that launches a Steam Game and monitor its main process so we can control its lifetime. This means, if the game closes itself, the stream will end too, or if you end the stream yourself, the game will end too.
This is a proof-of-concept for now, and it's just barely on Beta. And a big caviat is that you need both the Game ID (as the same as the current way for steam games) and the Game executable path, which it's not always the first .exe that you find on the game's directory. You can see the README.md for a real life example.
If you want to test it, you can check my Repository and its Release page, it works for both Windows and Linux (I don't have a Mac so I cannot build it nor test it for now).
If you find any bug or game that doesn't work correctly, please add an Issue and I'll try to investigate
