The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is not registered on Companies House, but it is named as a Person of Significant Control for The National Museum of the Royal Navy and the NAAFI.
The raw data for the MOD published in the OO Register shows those two PSC statements. They do not include an entity identifier and scheme for the MOD.
The entity statement for the Ministry of Defence is from lines 64 to 101 in the Register's BODS json file. The following highlight where errors have been made when checking against Open Corporates. Note that the uri https://opencorporates.com/companies/us_id/D61300 does not lead to an entry for the Ministry of Defence in either the US or the UK.

I'm not sure how to check how the Register has made this connection, and it is an assumption that the incorrect lookup is due to the lack of a COH identifier.

As far as I can tell, this error is being replicated in the BODS v0.2 data
