Semantic Conventions for Messaging Client Metrics : no metrics on connection number

Hello !

I read the semantic convention on messaging and i m wondering why no metrics are specify around the connection.
I see for exemple in the rabbit mq camqp client that they have one : https://rabbitmq.github.io/rabbitmq-amqp-java-client/snapshot/htmlsingle/#metrics-collection

# HELP rabbitmq_amqp_connections
# TYPE rabbitmq_amqp_connections gauge
rabbitmq_amqp_connections 1.0

Do you consider to integrate some recommandation on this in messaging convention ?
Do you consider also to integrate a label in metrics to seggregate them by connection ?
