trace missing in CompletableFuture

I am trying the opentelemetry auto-instrumentation with SpringBoot 3.x. But it appears that the trace is being lost when in CompletableFuture.handle. Could anyone please assist me with this issue? we lost trace at step3 in below code

    public CompletableFuture<ResponseEntity<String>> future5() {
        LOGGER.info("step1 trace={}", Span.current().getSpanContext().getTraceId());
        SqsAsyncClient sqsAsyncClient = SqsAsyncClient.builder().build();

                .handle((response, error) -> {
