Anyone tried this release and is using rook-ceph? It seems to break Ceph on our test cluster. I am reverting to the previous version. |

Same here after upgrade to4.11.0-0.okd-2023-01-14-152430 . ceph version 17.2.5 (98318ae89f1a893a6ded3a640405cdbb33e08757) quincy (stable) failed to reconcile CephCluster "rook-ceph/rook-ceph". failed to reconcile cluster "rook-ceph": failed to configure local ceph cluster: failed the ceph version check: failed to set up ceph version job: Rook image [rook/ceph:v1.10.6] and run image [] must be specified |

Right, since its not container-selinux change then its most likely new kernel breaking Ceph. Please create a new OKD issue for this (for folks to be aware) and file an issue for Fedora (so that it would be actually investigated and fixed). Please refrain from "I have this too" - its not helping and just pushes me to ignoring notifications |

From what I see in the OSD debug logs, OSDs can't connect to each other, similar to this bug where it was happening with monitors. I don't quite understand the cause, but the fix does mention having mon running as pid 1. I don't have a working rook cluster anymore, but the osd is not running as pid 1 right now. The fix also introduced Is there any container runtime change that could cause a PID change between this OKD release and the last one? OSD logs: |

I did not find time yet to create issues.. And when I blink my eyes, 4.12 is also released.. A good thing of course! Anyone knows if Ceph problems persist in 4.12? I saw quite some Ceph commits in kernel tree since this releases kernel version, so good hopes there. I first need to update Rook before I can try k8s 1.25 unfortunately. Guess not much sense to create issues if it only hits this specific release? Still hard to find out which kernel version comes with OKD releases. But I really like the feature where you can use your own OS versions in 4.12! |

I had updated my cluster to latest 4.11 to test @vrutkovs suggestion of disabling Linux, upgrading to 4.12 corrected the pg issues I was experiencing. |

I partially upgraded a cluster to As soon as two nodes' ostree deployment was updated from Rebasing them again to the old release: fixed the issues. Now, of course, the machine-config-operator is unhappy. |

@msteenhu I haven't done any extensive testing, but so far rook/ceph seems to work well on my 4.12 cluster. |

Hello guys! when i ssh into the bootstrap instance and journalctl -f into it I get a message that /usr/bin/hyperkube is not found which cause my cluster creation to fails, any idea what I'm missing doing wrong or what to try/troubelshoot? thanks |
