notion covers duplicating

sorry if this was already asked. In notion you can create cover images. When you import something like a database which may have the same image across many notes there tends to be duplicates.

I honestly don't need these imported. I was wondering if there is a way to not include these when importing as a way to manage these duplicates.

I do know typescript and can take a swing at this if I can find free time if anyone is able to point me in the right direction.

Are you referring to the Notion API importer?

Here is the code where the cover images are being downloaded. I'm not sure if the Notion API exposes enough information for us to do duplicate detection on the images. Maybe just comparing the URL would be enough?

yup the notion api importer.

the easiest solution for me is to give the option of not importing cover art. speaking for myself its just decorations in notion and doesn't provide value.
