Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

A clear and concise description of what the problem is.

It can be a little tedious when trying to figure out the full URI for an entry inside the site when setting up a redirect.

Describe the solution you would like

A clear and concise description of what you would like to have happen.

Having an entries selector where the user can select an entry would be great. Also having the option to still specify the specific URI if need be.

Describe alternatives you have considered

A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you have considered.

Additional context

Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.

So I have thought about this for some time; the real issue is that Craft doesn't really have a way to allow you to pick "any element" that I know of. In the pickers, you have to tell it whether you want a list of entries, or assets, or categories, or what have you.

So for now, there's no really clean way to do this.

Hi @khalwat
Can these be discussed again in 2024?
With the entrification plan, everything is now an entry on our projects.
Therefore, a normal relation field should do the job.
Best regards
