Hence why I am proposing to correct the label to make it more explicit that these are "ciliates", a non-scientific name that does not perfectly align to the taxoomic groupings specially when considering aloricate organisms, but a name that is widely used in scientific literature and in model studies.

I cannot see why we chose to use the term "aloricate organisms" instead of "aloricate ciliates" for http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/S25/current/BE005896/
