NTRs Occurrence probability of .... (BODCNVS-1335) #109
Comments
Hi @tkeena Many thanks for your request. It would be useful if you could provide a definition of 'Occurrence probability' and information about the methodology used. Is this based on model simulation? Thanks for your help. |
Hi, yes it's based on model simulations to predict the presence of phytoplankton. Thanks for your help. |
@tkeena is there a published paper associated with these data or the methodology used? It would help us in defining the new terms. Many thanks. |
@danibodc We need to define "Probability of occurrence" or Occurrence probability" in S06. This could apply to an event, a risk, a species so we need the definition in S06 terms to be broad. When we create the P01 combinations for Tara's species, it would also be worth creating the OBIS equivalent term of Probability of occurrence of biological species specified elsewhere. That will help future interoperability. |
Hi @tkeena, just wanted to echo Gwen's comment above - is there a published paper associated with these data or the methodology used? It would help us in defining the new terms. Many thanks. |
Hi @tkeena just wondered if you had any update on this request? |
Hi, can we please request the following four terms to be created:
Occurrence probability of Dinophysis acuminata (ITIS: 302: WoRMS 109603) in the waterbody
Occurrence probability of Dinophysis acuta (ITIS: 302: WoRMS 109604) in the waterbody
Occurrence probability of Karenia mikimotoi (ITIS: 302: WoRMS 233024 ) in the waterbody
Occurrence probability of Pseudo-nitzschia seriata complex (ITIS: 302: WoRMS 149152) in the waterbody
Many thanks,
Tara
