For what version of Nuxt UI are you asking this question?

v3-alpha

Description

In Nuxt UI seems like Chip and Badge are named not like in most frameworks.
I tried to confirm this by searching in google images:

chip in ui

badge in ui

Yes, looks like there are badges and chips out there looking like UBadge from Nuxt UI. But there are no Chip like in Nuxt UI (status or counter in small circle above Something). Everywhere it is called Badge

Maybe consider swap their names?

Thank you for Nuxt UI, looks like the most promising tailwind-styled UI lib right now, imho

Yeah I was confused about this as well, Nuxt UI chip is better named to something like 'notification badge' or 'notification dot'.
