Does having thousands and thousands of content will not slow down the site?

I would like to ask this because we plan to use nuxt3 content to create a blog site using contents. But is there going to be a problem if we create thousands of thousands of contents?

The dev may slow down (especially when statically generating the thousands of pages), but the production site (if static generated) won't slow down at all.
