Notify Sketchybar about workspace change doesn't work

Describe the bug
I installed sketchybar, and put this inside my aerospace.toml file:

# Notify Sketchybar about workspace change
exec-on-workspace-change = ['/bin/bash', '-c',
    'sketchybar --trigger aerospace_workspace_change FOCUSED_WORKSPACE=$AEROSPACE_FOCUSED_WORKSPACE'
]

but when i log out and log back in, I get this error message from aerospace
mode.service.binding.exec-on-workspace-change: Can't parse modifiers in 'exec-on-workspace-change' binding

although if i run that command on my command line, it works just fine

You need to move exec-on-workspace-change above [mode.main.binding]. It's a TOML problem. Read the TOML spec.

TOML is a bad idea, everyone who reads my message, I implore you to never use TOML for personal projects, don't do my mistake.
