I am currently working on the documentation of our network and the idea came up that with front ports the two connected fibres from the splice cabel can also be stored as documentation.
Idea:
If you have a patch panel with a splice cable to another one, you can also enter which fibres are connected to a front port.
As for the splice cable it would be ideal to know how much singlemode and multimode fibres the cabel has.
Further you could also display how many singlemode or multimode fibres the splice cable has in the topology view.
