It can be difficult to read the x-axis on charts, for example when logging training steps with larger values (thousands or millions), the default formatting is scientific notation which is not easy to read. This is particular important when exporting charts, for example to use in report.
Proposal
It would be nice to have options for axis formatting. For example: full (1,000, 1,000,000 ...), scientific notation (1e3, 1e6, ...), abbreviated integer (1K, 1M, ...), etc.
An example of the abbreviated int option would look like this:
