This PR fixes inflammatory language regarding the People's Republic of China, as discussed further in #582.

NACK. This PR constitutes political censorship; that is not acceptable here.

There are lots of other problems with this PR, but even if they were addressed, political censorship is not acceptable here under any circumstances.
