Building the ROM file

Hi,
sorry for polluting your repo but can you help a newbie out?
I made some slight changes to the game so that I can use the rotary controller on the jags secondary controller port.
The checksum obviously missmatches now and thus I had to remove the corresponding checks in the Makefile
The game built just fine and the abs file plays on a RetroHQ game drive but the built ROM file won't
All I get is a red screen of death. Any Idea how to fix this?

Yes, I'm using absolute addresses to piece together the ROM file so it will always break if you alter the source in such a way that adds or removes bytes from the final binary. Maybe I should have a make customrom command that's more flexible!
