Add Search option to Book and Group settings

It would be great if we could search for local books in the add Dictionary settings. It is quiet annoying to find a single dictonary among 50+ others to add it to a group.

I agree that this would be useful, but it's not a priority right now. Setting up the dictionaries, while painful, is mostly a one-off setup thing, so I feel our efforts are currently better spent refactoring rather than adding nice-to-have features to code that has to be rewritten anyway.
