tempo event overlap not permitted

pokemid throws an error when a tempo change occurs at the same time as a note. That shouldn't be a problem.

Having trouble recreating this. You mean the note-on is at the same position as the tempo change? I tested this and it appears to work fine, so please upload a .mid if you have a counterexample. Or do you mean a tempo change in the middle of a (Ch1) note? That doesn't work and shouldn't, I think.
