Before submitting a bug report

  • I updated to the latest version of Multi-Account Container and tested if I can reproduce the issue
  • I searched for existing reports to see if it hasn't already been reported

Step to reproduce

  1. I set a website to always open in my blue container and tell it to remember the decision.
  2. I try to force it to open in no container/orange container/etc by right clicking on the tab and choosing "Open in New Container Tab" ---> "No Container".
  3. The tab reopens in the blue container instead of what I actually asked it to open in.

Actual behavior

The tab reopens in the container it's always set in rather than the one I actually requested. The only way to open it in that container is to completely remove it from the site list by using the extension settings popout, but this is too many steps to simply reopen the tab in a new container, especially since I have to re-add it later.

Expected behavior

Explicitly asking the extension to reopen a tab in another container should override the "Always open in this container" setting.
