The previous ReCaptcha v1 is not responsive and therefore doesn't work on phones. Some have tried to integrate ReCaptcha v2 or similar (preHooks option) but without full success:

As far as I know ReCaptcha v1 will expire on March 31th, 2018. Are there any plans to release a offical pl version with ReCaptcha v2?

Hello,

This is really needed now as current solutions are a bit hacky. Any chance we can get this implementation updated to version 2?
