I just reinstalled and I am getting Virus & MacAfree Expired pops appearing on my Linux box. Once I kill the MCP Inspector & logged out all back t normal.

Hi @stevef1uk can you explain a little more how you installed inspector? I'm curious if you've somehow installed a different package by mistake (sometimes this happens with typos, etc).

Hi @stevef1uk I'm not able to repro this, and I wonder if there might be something that was flagged in an older version. Does the same thing happen if you specify latest? e.g. npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector@latest

Yes I can confirm no issues when I run it like that.
