Recommended way for external apps to consume UrbanReflex data?

I’m interested in using UrbanReflex as a data source for my own application and would like to understand the recommended integration path for external developers.

Questions

1. For third‑party applications, should we primarily consume data via your planned public HTTP Data API, directly via Orion-LD / NGSI-LD, or by using the open_data snapshot in this repository?
2. For long‑term integrations, which interface do you expect to be the most stable and “official” way to access UrbanReflex data going forward?

1. Our preferred way for external apps to use UrbanReflex data is the upcoming Public HTTP Data API: it will expose simple JSON/GeoJSON endpoints and hide NGSI‑LD complexity. If you specifically need full NGSI‑LD features or already use FiWARE, you can integrate directly with Orion‑LD; the open_data/ snapshot is mainly for offline analysis and reproducible research, not for real‑time API access.

2. In the long term, we expect the Public HTTP Data API to be the official, stable interface for third‑party consumers, while Orion‑LD remains our internal canonical data platform and expert‑level entry point. The open_data/ folder will stay as a static snapshot primarily for the competition submission and research use cases.
