New Java Programmer tyring to figure out Memory Debugging

Hello y'all. I was trying to figure out how to use the memory tab. My professor uses Eclipse and was explaining the java debugger and how you can see the memory addresses of variables. I see the memory tab when I'm debugging but it just says "There is no data provider registered that can provide view data." Also, I read about a possible fix is changing to address-level debugging but I did not find instructions on how to do so. Thanks for y'all's help I'm still a newbie when it comes to programming
