When I tried to install it, I got the following error message

The 'ms-windows-ai-studio.windows-ai-studio' extension is not available in Visual Studio Code for Linux ARM 64.

Is something that will be supported in the near future?

@jorgecis can you share more about this request? what hardware platform are you running on?

Sure, I'm using a HPE server with ARM 8 running Ubuntu ARM64.

HPE Proliant RL300

Do you need other information?

We'll look into this together with similar requests. But just a head-up that since the request for adding Linux ARM64 support is still low, it has not been prioritized yet, so it may take a while to get this support. Just to be transparent.

Since you were interested, I have the same request but I'm running windows 11 on arm (lenova copilot+ pc with npu), WSL 2.0, and it of course fails in the WSL 2.0 ubuntu 24.04 and also fails in the WLS's docker containers. I think that this will be a fairly common use case. Thanks!
