Lesson 00 Course Setup is confusing

You recommend using GitHub Codespace for the setup in part 2, and then comes part 3, "What's Next?". So should I ignore anything that goes beyond part 3?

If I continue to read, things are getting messy, starting here.

Why do you all of a sudden ask people to create an .evn file? This is supposed to be a lesson. You gotta give some context.

In short, all the stuff that is below Troubleshooting is messed up. As a beginner, I don't know if I need to follow each one of those steps.

I suggest anyone who is making changes to a lesson MD file should read through the whole text before committing the changes. It has to make sense.

Especially Lesson 00 is the very first lesson a new reader/beginner starts to read. First impression is important.

But let me provide clarity in the meanwhile:

• Create a Codespace, you can use GitHub token directly to use GitHub Models (free AI), it just works
• Running locally, you need a personal access token to use GitHub Models (free AI)
• Miniconda and Jupyter Notebook is for Python set up
• For other languages like .NET/JavaScript, we recommend polyglot notebook
