Using zx inside a GenAIScript script

https://google.github.io/zx/ brings the power of Bash to Javascript.

You can trivially use it inside your GenAIScript.
The only thing is that zx also use the $ symbol. You need to alias it when you import.

zx was in fact an inspiration to genaiscript! :) it was too tempting to also use the $ sign.

In the spirit of being self contained, you can also do

await host.exec(...)

although maybe we should use zx under the hood. Originally it was implanted both for node and vscode but now building on top of zx might make more sense.

It uses execa under the hood which "should" be cross platform. Definitely tested on powershell.

Does it support cross platform shell commands? At work, I am a Windows box and I need to tell zx to use Powershell.

how do you tell it that? you specifu a shell command in the options?

There is a platform env variable. Based on the value, I call the Powershell command or not.
