Description of the new feature / enhancement

C:\Program Files\PowerToys is becoming fat

Games are usually big but I didn't expect PowerToys took almost 700MB.

I have a quick look,

  • some duplicated DLL files under WinUI3Apps.
  • many DLL I assume should they should available in shared Windows runtime ? feel like bundle two copies own version of .NET
  • many translation resources, possible to have an option skip in installer

P.S. my SysinternalsSuite folder is just 121MB,
P.P.S. maybe problem is project name, PowerUtilityCollections does match up to 2GB.

Scenario when this would be used?

install
every bit should be counted because they are

AFAIK, smaller file should also help memory usage and start time

Currently a work in progress with Trimming to reduce file sizes. Devil is in the details for reducing file sizes, frameworks and dependencies. /dup #35300
