Systemline S7 Server - LMS 8.4.0 - Spotty unable to play

Hi,

I have a Systemline S7 NetServer running LMS 8.4.0 - Spotty version v4.51.2 - All has been working without any major issue until earlier this week when I noticed it started skipping tracks, just playing a few seconds and no more. The Spotify account can login via the Spotty plugin without any error that I can see.

Server spec:
O/S: Red Hat - EN - utf8
Platform Architecture: x86_64-linux
Perl Version: 5.24.3 - x86_64-linux-thread-multi
Audio::Scan: 0.95
IO::Socket::SSL: 2.038
Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1)

Any ideas what might be the problem?

Are you saying you would get audible feedback for a few seconds? What are your settings for Spotty, in particular the helper binary?

And make sure you disable Spotty -> Ogg playback in Settings/Advanced/File Format.
